The Vision
Construct Group were appointed to deliver a comprehensive internal renovation, transforming the property through structural reconfiguration, bespoke joinery, and high-spec finishes throughout. The project included a redesigned kitchen, upgraded living and dining areas, staircase refurbishment, and a luxury loft bathroom conversion. A consistent palette of natural materials, clean detailing, and carefully selected fixtures was used to create a seamless flow between spaces, resulting in a home that feels both modern and timeless.
The Brief
The homeowners wanted to modernise their property while retaining its character, creating a more open and cohesive layout that better suited family living and entertaining. The brief focused on improving flow between rooms, introducing high-quality materials such as herringbone timber flooring and bespoke cabinetry, and upgrading key spaces including the kitchen and bathroom to a premium standard. Natural light, considered lighting design, and a balance between contemporary and traditional detailing were central to achieving a home that felt elevated yet welcoming.
How the Space Was Transformed
The transformation centred around unifying the home through layout improvements and consistent, high-end finishes. The introduction of herringbone timber flooring throughout the ground floor creates visual continuity and warmth, while the redesigned kitchen combines muted cabinetry, stone worktops, and statement lighting to form a functional yet stylish focal point. The staircase was refreshed to enhance the sense of craftsmanship, and living areas were redefined to feel open but still intimate. Upstairs, the loft bathroom was converted into a bright, spa-like retreat featuring a freestanding bath, skylight, and bespoke detailing, turning previously underutilised space into one of the home’s standout features. The result is a fully modernised interior that enhances both everyday living and long-term property value.
